Experience and Qualifications

My passion for education first flourished during my time at university where I started working as a peer learning leader alongside my studies. I graduated with 1st-class honours in BA (hons) English Language Studies in 2020.

After graduating, I worked as a Teaching Assistant throughout the pandemic, supporting vulnerable and SEND students to access learning in school. During this time I completed a Level 2 Understanding Autism course and gained experience supporting students with a vast range of SEN.

I completed my PGCE in Secondary English in June 2022 with the University of Sussex and have taught ever since! Teaching and educating is my passion and I love seeing students move from strength to strength and understand new concepts and ideas.

As a tutor, I value all of my learners and take into account their different needs, backgrounds, and interests when tutoring. I believe that all students can fulfil their potential and I enjoy seeing students grow and gain confidence in English.
